The Terrebonne Bar Association was chartered in 1940 as a not-for-profit organization.  The mission of the Terrebonne Bar Association is to maintain and promote the honor and dignity of the legal profession and ensure the continued understanding of, and access to, the legal system by both its members and the general public.  Through the years, the Terrebonne Bar has provided for the education and enrichment of its members and the local community through continuing legal education programs, social interactions and community service projects.  Any member of the Louisiana State Bar is eligible for membership to the Terrebonne Bar and welcomed to participate in its activities.
